From Ceremony to Teacup explores tea as both ritual and habit — from the quiet discipline of the Japanese tea ceremony to the layered social, colonial, and domestic histories of tea drinking in South Africa. The exhibition invites reflections on slowness, gesture, hospitality, power, and everyday use. The exhibiting artists explorehow these ideas can be held, questioned, or reimagined.
