Fragments from the Interior speaks both to the interior landscapes of the artists and to the interior country of the Karoo —  spaces, landscapes, histories, vegetation, and people, . The exhibition shows works that carry evidence of  layering, firing, carving, painting and remembering.

 The exhibition brings together artists whose practices, though diverse, share an attentiveness to material and place.

 Rather than illustrating the Karoo, the exhibition hopes to create a conversation around it — around transformation, ecology, memory, craft, fragility and belonging.
